We, Beijing 7D Vision Technology Co., Ltd., along with our affiliates and subsidiaries (including but not limited to "Beijing 7D-Vision Media Technology Co., Ltd") respect your privacy and is committed to protecting your Data. This privacy policy will inform you how we look after your Data if you are a customer, supplier or professional contact of us, when you use 7d-vision.com7d-media.netviup.vip, and our affiliated websites, applications, and online services (collectively, our “Websites”), use our hardware or software products, or otherwise provide us with such Data.

It is important that you regularly revisit this Privacy Policy for potential updates, as it may be subject to changes over time. We also encourage you to thoroughly read this Privacy Policy, in conjunction with any other privacy policies we might periodically furnish. By doing so, you can stay fully informed about how and why we utilize your data.

This Privacy Policy applies to all your data collected by the 7D Vision, whether through 7D Vision or by any other means (the “Websites”). If your local legislation requires so, this Privacy Policy may be supplemented by local specifications that we invite you to read carefully.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, plug-ins and mobile applications that may link to the Websites or be linked to on the Websites. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We are not responsible for the actions or privacy practices of third-party websites and applications; please consult those websites and applications directly to understand their privacy practices.

INFORMATION ABOUT US

Beijing 7D Vision Technology Co., Ltd. (a limited corporation registered in People’s Republic of China with company number 91110101306551438N ) is the controller and entity responsible for deciding how and why your Data is processed. We have appointed a Data Privacy Manager who is responsible for overseeing questions in relation to this privacy policy. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, including any requests to exercise your legal rights, please contact the Data Privacy Manager using the details set out at the bottom of this page.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

We collect, process, retain and transfer the following Data:

  • Information You Give Us: Whether you are a supplier or customer (including a prospective customer) we receive and store information you provide us (whether from the telephone, email, when completing product license information, on our Websites, or at any event such as a tradeshow) including your name, postal address, phone number, bank account, payment card details and email address and other related details required so that we can provide our goods and/or services.
  • Information from software and hardware: Some of our hardware and software products will collect information about your hardware of use of our software and share this with us. Most of this information is technical information which will not identify you personally, but the information may include your IP address and product license information. The information will be used to help us to resolve technical issues, improve the development of our products, and to detect use of fraudulent license keys. You may be able to deactivate information sharing on certain hardware or software products. Please refer to the options and guides of those products.
  • Information From Social Media: When you interact with us or our Websites on a social media platform, we may collect the Data that you make available to us on that page, including your account ID or username and other information included in your posts.
  • Information From Other Sources: We may collect information about you from third parties or collected offline, such as information collected by 7D Vision at events, or through our sales partners, or through sponsorship of events including but not limited to webinars, or through market research, or collected over the phone and add it to your account information. This information may include, but is not limited to, demographic information that is publicly available, additional contact information, group affiliations, and occupational information.
  • Where we need to collect Data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

  • We use your Data when the law allows us to and to help us personalize and continually improve your experience interacting with us, including fulfilling your orders and requests for information, analyzing and compiling trends and statistics, and communicating with you.

We will only use your Data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. 

In addition, we may process your Data without your knowledge or consent, where this is required or permitted by law.

MARKETING

We may use your Data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. This is how we decide which services and offers may be relevant for you.

You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us or purchased goods or services from us or the Data has been lawfully transferred to us for such purpose and, in each case, you have not opted out of receiving that marketing on the basis that this within our legitimate interests to do so.

We will get your express opt-in consent before we share your Data with any third party for marketing purposes.

You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you or by contacting us using the details above at any time.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH OTHERS

We share your Data with third parties as described below. In addition, we may share information that does not specifically and personally identify you, such as aggregate information, device identifiers or other unique identifiers to third parties.

Third-Party Service Providers: We engage third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf such as: hosting, marketing, social media integration, and analytics. For example, we use third parties to process payments made to us and assist with product fulfillment and other operations. These third parties may have access to your Data when needed to perform their functions. If we share information with these third parties that personally identifies you, such as your name, address, or phone number, we will require the third parties to maintain the confidentiality and security of your Data, and they will be restricted from using, selling, or distributing such personally identifiable information in any way other than to provide the requested services to the Websites or as otherwise required or expressly permitted by law.

Businesses in the supply chain: including suppliers, customers and any other person involved to enable us to perform our obligations or related matters pursuant to our business contracts.

Professional advisers: including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers who provide, for example, consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services.

Business Partners: We may share information that personally identifies you with business partners, including our certified sales partners, who provide products and services that we think you may be interested in.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

The information provided by you may be transferred internationally to 7D-Vision and third parties for its processing subject to the requirements established by the legislation applicable in each country or region, and to the international agreements, where the different 7D-Vision entities operate.

In this regard, the 7D-Vision, either as Data Processor and/or Data Controller, will protect your rights in the international transfer of personal information to third countries, and will, in observance, at all times, of 7D-Vision’s security standards and the applicable legislation in this matter.

DATA RETENTION

We will only retain your Data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

To determine the appropriate retention period for Data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the Data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your Data, the purposes for which we process your Data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

HOW TO ACCESS AND MODIFY YOUR INFORMATION

If you have an online account with us, you can update your account information through your account.

It is important that the Data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your Data changes during your relationship with us.

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your Data. These rights are set out below. If you wish to exercise any of the rights set out above, please contact our Data Privacy Manager.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your Data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
Your legal rights are as follows:

  • Request access to your Data. This enables you to receive a copy of the Data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
  • Request correction of the Data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected.
  • Request erasure of your Data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove Data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your Data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below).

CHOICES ABOUT HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED AND SHARED

Further to the rights you have set out above, we will follow the option(s) you select when you are asked to register or fill in a form on our Websites regarding how your contact information is used and shared.

7D-Vision uses a variety of managerial, technical, and physical measures to protect the integrity and security of your information. These measures may vary based on the sensitivity of your information. However, no security precautions or systems can be completely secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to 7D-Vision, and you do so at your own risk. We cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

You can help protect the privacy of your own information by using encryption and other techniques to prevent unauthorized interception of your Data. You are responsible for the security of your information that you transmit to us or view, download, or otherwise access when using unencrypted, public or otherwise unsecured networks.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Minors: Our websites are intended for users ages 13 and older only. Accordingly, we will not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children that we know to be under the age of 13. If we become aware of personal information in our database that was collected from a child under 13, we will delete such information.
